The Social Marketing exCHANGE is a a collaborative group blog authored by members of the Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide Social Marketing team. Our hope is to foster a rich discussion among our colleagues, clients, social marketing practitioners, academicians, and others interested in the application of social marketing and behavior change communications to address public health and social issues. We invite you to join the conversation as we exchange opinions and insights on all things Social Marketing.

What We Do

For more than two decades, Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has been at the forefront of social marketing — advancing public health and social issues via marketing communications initiatives aimed at raising awareness, influencing attitudes, and prompting and supporting personal and community behavior change and supportive policy and systems change. Our experience includes public health, public safety, risk communication, transportation safety, disaster and emergency preparedness, and environmental stewardship, among other issues. On the international, national, state and local fronts, we help organizations meet their goals and change community and personal behaviors using a combination of some or all of the following elements of social marketing: audience research and insights; strategic planning; motivational platforms and message creation; innovative partnerships; creative materials and tools; traditional, social and digital media relations; social networking and word-of-mouth; paid and public service advertising; agenda-setting events; and evaluation.
